Virginia (Scrimgeour; RMT) August; HOM

Born and raised in Lindsay, ON.  She moved to the Cobourg area in 1984. Virginia has 4 sons and 6 grandchildren.

She graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 1992 and the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine in 2014. She has been an active Massage Therapist for 26 years in the Cobourg area and is also working at the First Nations in Port Perry and a long-term health care facility in Port Hope. Virginia joined the health care team of Singleton Chiropractic in 2014, practicing Massage therapy and Homeopathic medicine.

Virginia’s love for complementary medicine and to help people feel better about themselves, to boost their health and feel more energetic, is of utmost importance to her.

Virginia continues to take seminars and courses in various fields, as she loves to learn. One of her favourite’s is cupping, which is used as a tool alongside massage to increase circulation, reduce muscle pain and increase mobility.

Virginia loves the open air of the country, dogs, decorating, cooking and going to Paint parties with friends. You may find her tucked into the corner of  a bistro reading a good book.
